At higher level when you have better ability it'll be easier. you ll be lucky to hit them 3 times and run away without a 3rd of your vitality unmolested. as you basically gonna have to engage them "hit and run". You have to have enough food for vitality. At low level, it's a gruelling task to defeat them.
